Rolling Table Saw Station

I was super excited to add this rolling table saw station to my Maker Shop. The idea and plans come from a Ryobi Buildoff, featuring Ana White. Ana's website is filled with practical and cool DIY projects with easy to follow plans.

Overview

My Maker Space is actually in my garage. Rolling work tables and tools make it much easier to re-arrange and tuck away when not in use.

Finished rolling table saw station! 

Materials Used:

• 3/4” plywood
• 3/4" melamine for top
• 1/4" plywood
• 3” casters with brakes

• 2X4's @ 8 feet

• 1X2's @ 8 feet

I used the cut out for the platform support for the table saw.

Test fit of the table saw.

Needed some shims to get the height just right.

"BucketHead" vac fits underneath.

Still have to add better dust collection. Now I just vac up all the dust.

Loaded up with tools on both sides.

Added switch and outlet to front to control power to the saw.

The switch is fed by power running out of the back of the rolling station. I roll the station to where I need it and plug it in. Everything powers up.
