Spirit Rock at Dawn in Marin County
I've driven by this big rock a hundred times and always thought it would be great to capture it at sunrise. The morning I made the photo we had unusual amount of clouds for the time of year…they played nicely with the photograph.
I took nearly 300 photographs that morning, testing my Canon T3i and Olympus OM-D at the same time while bracketing for exposure.
The final image is made with my Olympus OM-D E-M5, 1/8s @ f/14 ISO 200, m.Zuiko 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 @ 16mm
HDR -2 EV to +2 EV with 1 EV increments
Post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
